Today's #inktober2021 word prompt is "pressure". Pressure is what I felt when trying to force myself to create something around that! LOL Pressure can be good, though, in this case it's self-imposed as I'm trying to stick with this month-long daily ink drawings challenge. Even if it's self-accountability and no one would know if I missed one or two, or more daily drawings...well, I would know. SOOOO, to stick with it when uninspired with the prompts provided, I had to take charge. I found an alternative list online (granted it's a couple years old) but it has words that are more interesting and inspiring to me than the official list does. It's the Fairytober list of 2019 (I learned that there are many alternative lists out there - scarytober, witchtober, etc... so I guess I'm not alone on needing alternatives). Today's word in this alternative list is "Sun". ....oh, and I LOVE our glorious sun! I even wrote a quickie poem for it while inking away on my sketchbook:
(First Draft)
Solecito, solecito,
nunca dejes de brillar.
Sin tu luz y tu calor,
entristece mi andar.
Tu alumbras el camino.
Das vida a toda flor.
Solecito, solecito,
goza tu resplandor.
