I made it to the end of this month-long challenge, yay! 😁 😀 😆 I did have my doubts a few times during the month and I did stumble upon roadblocks - happy to report that I did all 31 ink drawings for #inktober2021.
If you've been following along, you also know that I had to give it my own twist by occasionally adding prompt words from #fairytober and this last week, I added a third word prompt from #scbwiartober (this last one I would have done completely I just didn't know about it until last week). As a first timer doing one of these challenges, my biggest take away is that you have to spice it up in whatever way suits you. In any case, the point of these challenges is to help you get back to a drawing habit or start it, if you've never done it. I try to either draw and/or write daily or every other day, even if it's just sketches or scribbles but September was a tough month for me, emotionally, so I hadn't been as regular anymore. This little challenge was helpful in making me consistent, hope to keep it that way.
