On the 12th day of Christmas...

On the 12th. day of Christmas, I share with you this Tree. This is the last of the Twelve Days of Christmas art collage pieces I made. According to (house beautiful), The twelfth day of Christmas, 5th January, is the Eve of Epiphany – Epiphany being on 6th January. It marks the end of Christmas celebrations, and is typically when people traditionally take down their Christmas trees, wreaths and decorations. ...so I guess it's time to take down those Christmas trees :-). A Valentine's Day collage

Posting it over a month later but better late than never :-) here's a little collage I made for this year's Valentine's Day. That's probably one of my favorite holidays and now it's even more meaningful because my puppy is a little Valentine! I was too busy celebrating her birthday 🥳 ...and now, the Valentine's Day collage:

Another Valentine's Day collage!

This little Valentine went to a lovely young girl. She's the same girl that's in the oil painting (actually a print from it) that was included within this collage (hint: look at the heart with little girl running around a tree - that's her!). ...she's my beloved niece. The original painting was made in oil on canvas many years ago when she was a little girl. That's one the awesome things about collage, you can bring prints or parts from previous art into a new piece of art. How's that for recycling!?
